Senior Accountant II

First Community is currently seeking a Sr. Accountant II for our Copperfield location to be fully on-site.

Duties would include but are not limited to preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports and variance analyses. Will also assist with month-end close, audits, NCUA reporting, budgets and compliance. Analyzes loan portfolio, charge-offs, cash flow and financial trends.

Additionally, supports management with performance insights, reporting and regulatory exams. Maintains vendor and agency relations, ensures, internal controls and assists with quarterly reports along with reports ad hoc.

This position requires flexibility to work additional hours/Saturdays per department needs.

Requirements include a minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and at least five years of similar or related experience. Financial institution preferred but not required.
