Summary:
The Warehouse Manager oversees daily warehouse operations, employee supervision, inventory management, and operational execution. This role is responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with company policies, and leading warehouse staff while supporting a safe, productive, and customer-focused environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse operations, staffing, workflow, productivity, and operational execution.
- Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate warehouse employees.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, safety standards, and operational expectations.
- Communicate operational concerns, staffing issues, inventory discrepancies, and recommendations to management.
- Ensure orders are accurately received, picked, staged, loaded, processed, and verified prior to departure.
- Conduct spot checks and investigate picking errors, damages, shortages, and recurring operational issues.
- Review Zero Pick Reports daily and maintain inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, replenishment, and FIFO procedures.
- Monitor product labeling, tagging, stocking, and inventory control processes.
- Maintain communication with drivers regarding shortages, damages, service issues, and order accuracy concerns.
- Ensure all orders are properly processed through company systems and investigate processing failures.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, safety, compliance, and facility standards.
- Respond promptly to operational issues and keep leadership informed of significant concerns.
- Assist with receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by management to meet business needs and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2–5 years of warehouse experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Regular schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM; however, must maintain flexibility to respond to weekend operational calls and may be required to report to the warehouse on weekends based on business needs.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
