Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides mental health services in compliance with clinical policies

Prepares clinical documentation, including reports and mental health treatment records, in a timely manner.

Provides crisis intervention counseling, brief therapy, and group therapy as needed.

Collaborates with the Mental Health Director to manage clinical staff, ensuring adequate staff coverage.

Coordinates mental health treatment plans with other medical providers within the facility.
-
Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
-
May be required to participate in a system of 24-hour crisis intervention services.

Performs other duties as assigned to support FCH’s goals, objectives and values.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies

Knowledge of treatment approaches, evidence-based practices and assessment standards.

Knowledge and expertise in crisis intervention, and the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with psychological disorders and psychiatric distress.

Proven leadership ability to direct effective mental health services and to motivate and develop staff towards excellence in their work.

Strong attention to detail, follow-up and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Strong written and oral communication skills.
