Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processor
Job Description:
At First Citizens State Bank, our mission is to provide a first-class loan experience for every customer. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of essential back-office tasks that support the overall loan process. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize daily responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Order appraisals, title work, and flood determinations. Maintain calendars and loan pipeline tracking.
• Organize pending loan files, update WUP, and identify & track missing documentation.
• Prepare loan documentation and payoff statements, including for Gremar and Bielinkski, and apply pay off funds.
• Manage escrow-related insurance, including paying and tracking homeowners' insurance, forced-placed homeowners and flood insurance, and mailing required notices.
• Manage PMI payments and cancellations.
• Review teller work for accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- Prior experience in banking or loan operations is a plus but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy.
