Position Overview
The Barista prepares and serves quality coffee and beverages while offering genuine hospitality to everyone who walks through our doors. This role supports the mission of our church by helping create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages
- Provide friendly, welcoming customer service
- Operate coffee equipment and POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of café space
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work well with volunteers and staff in a team environment
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive, and reliable
- Comfortable working with people of all ages
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Barista or food service experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
- Availability during weekday mornings, weekend service times, and special events as needed
