Full Time, Temp to Hire,

1st Shift, 7am - 3:30pm

2nd Shift 3pm- 11:30pm

$17.50 - $19.50 per hour

Seeking talented Polishers and those interested in learning this skill and trade. Positions available on 1st and 2nd shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform polish operations on various metal alloy parts, according to prescribed specifications in processes, layouts, blueprints and/or work instructions. Polishers will smooth and deburr surfaces of precision parts with precise specifications and tight tolerances.
• Operate a variety of sanding and grinding machines as well as handheld power and hand tools.
• Interpret & complete a variety of instructions in oral, written, diagrammatic form & perform ordinary arithmetic, algebraic & geometric procedures in practical applications.
• Inspect dimensions of completed operations using various gauges.
• Follow safety requirements.
• Communicate improvements and ideas for more effective cost control or improved processes, problems and deviations to supervisor.
• Meet or exceed the rate of production and quality requirements for each operation.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of manufacturing experience is highly desirable but will train.
• Looking for high quality, reliable employees who are on time and ready to work.
• Must be willing to learn. This skill can always be refined and improved.
• Candidates must have strong math and measurement skills and be able to read inspection reports.
• Must be quality and safety oriented.

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
• Polishing: 1 year (Preferred)
