The Medical Receptionist in our primary care office plays a vital role in ensuring smooth patient interactions and efficient office operations. Supporting Family Medicine and Internal Medicine specialties, this position requires excellent organizational skills to manage appointments, medical records, insurance verifications, and compliance tasks. The receptionist reports directly to the Medical Director and operates on a single shift schedule with no travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update medical records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Verify patient insurance information prior to visits
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently for providers
- Coordinate daily office operations to support clinical staff
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical reception or healthcare administration
