Maintenance Supervisor/Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Supervisor/Technician to lead the maintenance operations of a large apartment community and ensure the optimal performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to perform and oversee maintenance, help manage a team of technicians, and work closely with Property Manager on goals and needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and supervisory skills, along with a passion for maintaining high standards in an apartment/multi-family environment.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Lead a team of technicians by providing guidance, training, and supervision to foster a high-performing maintenance department
• Utilize property software to schedule work orders & track maintenance history.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues.
• Maintain HVAC units
• Ensure adherence to safety
• Rotating ON-CALL between other maintenance staff for after hour/weekend emergencies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Multi-Family/Property Management with supervising responsibilities
• Strong electrical experience, hands-on mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems
• Knowledge of safety standards & OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately
• Excellent communication skills in English for effective team leadership and coordination
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
