Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Superintendent with at least 8* years of experience* to lead our field operations. You will be the bridge between the blueprints and the finished build, ensuring that our residential and commercial projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a leadership role that requires a blend of high-level technical expertise, meticulous organizational skills, and the ability to inspire a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Directly manage and mentor teams of 2 or more electricians and apprentices. Foster a culture of safety, productivity, and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Project Oversight: Read and interpret complex electrical blueprints and technical diagrams to plan and execute installations accurately.
- Material Management: Audit and control material usage to minimize waste. Ensure all necessary supplies are ordered and on-site before they are needed to avoid downtime.
- Administrative Excellence: Manage all project-related paperwork, including daily logs, timesheets, change orders, and safety reports.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all work meets local and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and passes all required inspections.
- Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact on-site for general contractors, inspectors, and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in both residential and commercial electrical construction.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing teams (2 people) and maintaining high morale and performance.
- Technical Literacy: Expert-level ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Organizational Skills: Proficient in managing schedules and detailed paperwork in an organized, timely manner.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify potential project bottlenecks and implement solutions on the fly.
- Safety First: Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe job site.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and navigate active construction sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/scaffolding as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Pay based on experience
Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
