Spring Hill Suites by Marriott New Bern is seeking an experienced Director of Sales! Prior DOS experience for major branded hotels like Hilton and Marriott are required. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, especially with outside sales. This position requires great strength and experience in outside sales to procure and develop new groups and clients, along with the successful maintenance of existing ones. The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for the overall operation of the sales department. This includes developing and directing the sales effort in order to achieve maximum revenue and profitability potential for the hotel. The Director of Sales also leads the properties overall sales and revenue daily tasks and is responsible for marketing efforts and the allocation of all marketing funds.
