Responsibilities
- Lead mitigation projects involving water damage restoration, fire damage repair, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and other environmental cleanup efforts.
- Perform detailed inspections of affected sites to assess damage scope and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Coordinate with clients to communicate project progress, expectations, and timelines clearly.
- Oversee the use of cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning and surface sanitation to restore properties to pre-loss condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and project milestones for reporting purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience in the restoration industry with a strong background in water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or lead technician roles.
- Hands-on proficiency with hand tools, power tools, construction techniques, and specialized equipment used in mitigation projects.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods including carpet cleaning and surface sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols related to asbestos abatement and environmental hazards.
- Industry certifications such as IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) or equivalent are highly preferred.
