We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like light repairs, painting touch-ups, and reporting larger repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained, organized, and used safely according to protocols.
- Support general porter responsibilities by moving furniture or equipment as needed to facilitate cleaning or maintenance activities.
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, bending, and reaching.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
