This position works as part of the new business development team for Factoring which is responsible for finding new business and closing sales opportunities. This role will provide direct support to Transportation Business Development Managers, as well as Commercial Finance, Business Development Officers, and sales staff. This will include the opportunity to work with the sales team to develop a new and fresh national marketing campaign strategy designed to build brand awareness across the U.S., develop and provide reports and reporting tools, evaluate processes and process flows, and analyze data to give insights.
Qualifications: This person must have completed a minimum of two years toward a post-secondary degree. A background in Office products and SharePoint is desired. Some exposure to banking or bank processes is encouraged. This role requires employment to be on-site. Some travel to attend functions or events may be required.

Principal Responsibilities
- Analyze and determine the best source for obtaining prospect lists to be used in our direct marketing campaigns.
- Work with the sales team to determine defined territories, and the industries within those territories, to kick off our direct marketing campaign to prospective clients. For Transportation, provide a refresh for campaigns already in use.
- Partner with marketing to develop a strategy to utilize social media to help build brand awareness and keep the Factoring product top of mind for referral sources. Help to manage LinkedIn profiles for team members.
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to develop an effective direct email campaign to 3rd party referral sources.
- Partner with Marketing to develop promotional pieces for events.
- Analyze sales data (trends, forecasts, performance).
- Build reports and dashboards (often in Microsoft Excel or Tableau).
- Support sales teams with insights (pricing, customer behavior, pipeline analysis).
- Clean and organize datasets.
- Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
- Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
