The First Bank and Trust Company is looking for an experienced Commercial Loan Officer who thrives on producing new business and building lasting relationships in Wytheville, Virginia.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively source, development, and maintain commercial banking relationships in Virginia.
- Assists with implementing the bank’s business plan and keeping management informed of internal resources, market conditions, and competitive pressures.
- Identify lending opportunities, structure competitive loan packages, and guide borrowers through the application process.
- Manage and grow your loan portfolio with a focus on retention and cross-selling.
- Partner with credit, deposit, and operation co-workers to deliver smooth, efficient service to clients.
- Identify and explore business development opportunities within the community.
- Represent the bank in the community to develop business and promote The First Bank and Trust products and services.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in commercial lending production.
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis and commercial loan structuring.
- Established business and referral network in Virginia.
