Position Title: Lot Porter / Detailer / General Sales Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused individual to join our dealership team as a Lot Porter, Detailer, and General Sales Assistant. This role is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the dealership lot, preparing vehicles for sale and delivery, assisting the sales team, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move, organize, and maintain vehicles on the dealership lot.
- Wash, vacuum, wax, and detail new and used vehicles.
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and showroom display.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or maintenance needs.
- Keep the lot, showroom, and service areas clean and organized.
- Assist the sales team by retrieving vehicles for test drives and customer demonstrations.
- Fuel vehicles and monitor inventory readiness.
- Install license plates, dealer decals, and other accessories as needed.
- Greet customers professionally and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Assist with miscellaneous dealership duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
