First Adventures Academy is a family-owned and operated early learning center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Closing Staff Member to join our team and help ensure our classrooms are clean, organized, and ready for a fresh start each morning.
This position is perfect for a high school student looking for an after-school job or someone who wants to pick up a few extra evening hours in a positive, family-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist daytime teaching staff with end-of-day classroom cleanup and organization.
- Take out trash and recycling from classrooms and common areas.
- Wipe down and disinfect all tables, counters, and classroom surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock necessary supplies.
- Ensure all classrooms and shared spaces are tidy, safe, and ready for the next day.
- Follow all cleaning checklists and safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Director or management team.
Qualifications
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently within a set timeframe.
- No prior experience required — training will be provided!
