Position Overview
We are seeking a General Urologist to provide comprehensive urologic care to patients in the Alexandria, Louisiana area. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a broad range of adult urologic conditions and performing general urologic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of urologic conditions.
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient urologic care.
- Perform general urologic surgical and office-based procedures.
- Manage conditions including kidney stones, BPH, urinary tract disorders, prostate conditions, and other urologic diseases.
- Conduct consultations, follow-up visits, and pre- and post-operative care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with other physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
- Board eligible or board certified in Urology.
- Eligible for or currently holding a Louisiana medical license.
- Eligible for hospital privileges.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
