Position Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to oversee the daily operations of a long-term care/skilled nursing facility in Frostburg, MD.
- The ideal candidate will be a strong healthcare leader with experience in facility operations, regulatory compliance, resident care, staff management, and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the long-term care/skilled nursing facility.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and licensing requirements.
- Lead and support nursing, clinical, administrative, and support staff.
- Monitor resident care, safety, satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing, employee performance, and team development.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, census, and overall facility performance.
- Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections.
- Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Nursing Home Administrator license in Maryland or eligibility for Maryland licensure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home administration.
- Strong knowledge of LTC/SNF regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience managing a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.
- Background in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and survey readiness.
- Experience with staff development and operational improvement.
- Knowledge of resident-centered care and long-term care best practices.

Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
