Audiologist

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Audiologist to join a patient-focused healthcare team. The Audiologist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing, balance, and related auditory disorders. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and diagnostic testing.

Diagnose hearing and balance disorders using evidence-based practices.

Recommend and fit hearing aids and assistive listening devices.

Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding hearing health and treatment options.

Perform hearing aid programming, adjustments, troubleshooting, and follow-up care.

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Stay current with advancements in audiology, hearing technology, and clinical best practices.

Qualifications

Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program.

Active New York Audiologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Experience with diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient counseling skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).

Experience with pediatric and/or adult populations.

Knowledge of current hearing aid technologies and vestibular testing.
