Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Athletic Trainer to join the team in Lima, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for an athletic trainer who enjoys working directly with individuals, promoting injury prevention, supporting rehabilitation, and helping people maintain their health and physical well-being.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide athletic training services, including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Evaluate injuries and develop appropriate treatment and recovery plans.
- Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary.
- Assist individuals with injury rehabilitation and safe return-to-activity programs.
- Develop and implement injury prevention and wellness programs.
- Perform therapeutic exercises, stretching, taping, bracing, and other appropriate interventions.
- Monitor individuals during rehabilitation and track their progress.
- Educate individuals on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, conditioning, and overall wellness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Recognize situations requiring referral to physicians or other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, supervisors, and other team members.
- Follow established clinical, safety, and compliance protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current BOC (Board of Certification) certification as an Athletic Trainer.
- Eligible for or able to obtain an Ohio Athletic Trainer license.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Strong knowledge of injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in athletic training, occupational health, sports medicine, rehabilitation, or a similar setting is preferred.
