We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of irrigation systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with clients to provide effective solutions that enhance the health and beauty of their outdoor spaces.
Duties
- Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, lay pipes, and set up sprinkler systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their irrigation needs and system performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance schedules.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to irrigation installation and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair various irrigation components.
- Experience in lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical tasks associated with installation work.
- Knowledge of proper irrigation techniques to efficiently irrigate gardens and landscapes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing tasks accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
- Acclimated to working outside on a regular basis
- Self-sufficient with motivation to complete tasks independently with a high regard to quality of the work.
- Preferred candidates will have Irrigation Technician license.
