Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to ensure quality food preparation
• Manage cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and handle cash handling responsibly
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation guidelines, including food handling and kitchen cleanliness
• Assist in stocking supplies, organizing the work area, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
• Support team members during busy periods by providing quick service in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant setting

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience with food preparation, handling, or culinary tasks is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Customer service experience demonstrating positive communication and problem-solving abilities
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash registers
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Retail sales experience or grocery store background is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential
