Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food handling regulations
- Support food safety protocols through proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Assist in kitchen operations including food prep, cooking, and ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks seamlessly in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for transactions and sales upselling
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic kitchen experience or restaurant background is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
