Duties
- Prepare high-quality sandwiches and other menu items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with food handling, and supporting kitchen operations during busy hours
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and sales totals
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring proper food storage practices
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS; previous cashiering experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests of all ages
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for transactions, retail math calculations, and inventory counts
- Experience working in a restaurant environment with a focus on serving customers quickly and accurately
- Capable of working as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
