Duties
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently following company standards for quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Handle food safely by adhering to sanitation and food handling protocols
- Manage cashier responsibilities including processing transactions accurately and upselling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment through proper bussing and sanitation practices
- Assist with food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant remains organized during shifts
- Support team members in delivering quick service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurants preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and handle diverse guest needs
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Previous experience in culinary roles, cashiering, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafés is advantageous
- Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude toward serving customers
