Shift Leader
Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts
- Ensure all team members are following proper food handling and safety procedures
- Train and mentor new team members
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to increase sales
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise
- Operate the POS system (Aloha POS) to process orders and payments accurately
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and reconciliation
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or fast-food establishment
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
