Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. This role is essential to our daily success, involving the hands-on handling of inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics to ensure our builders, contractors, and homeowners receive exceptional service. Duties
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or customer pickup, ensuring all items match packing slips.
- Inventory Control: Assist with receiving incoming shipments, verifying counts against purchase orders, and organizing stock within the warehouse and design center.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload freight trailers and delivery vehicles using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual lifting techniques.
- Delivery Support: Participate in hands-on delivery activities as needed to ensure materials reach project sites safely and on time.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace; adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards.
- Documentation: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or handheld scanners to track inventory movement and update order status.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and sales team to resolve inventory discrepancies and prioritize urgent orders.
Experience & Requirements
- Proven Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or retail stockroom environment.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and remain active on your feet for the duration of a shift.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with RF scanners and basic computer entry; experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Equipment Operation: Experience or certification in operating forklifts or pallet jacks is highly preferred.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong ability to recognize SKUs, part numbers, and quantities to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
