We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, flood, and mold remediation projects, demonstrating emergency response readiness.
- Perform cleaning, demolition, and restoration tasks using hand tools, power equipment, and specialized cleaning techniques.
- Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly to transport equipment and personnel to job sites.
- Conduct moisture inspections and water extraction procedures utilizing industry-standard equipment such as moisture meters and pumps.
- Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection to ensure safety during all restoration activities.
- Execute fire restoration processes, including soot removal and odor control, adhering to established safety protocols.
- Document job progress accurately using Xactimate estimating software and maintain detailed records of work performed.
- Assist in mold remediation efforts by identifying mold growth and applying appropriate containment and removal procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site, including carpet cleaning and debris removal as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines diligently to protect yourself, team members, clients, and property throughout every project.
Experience
- Previous experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle emergency response situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, flood recovery, and mold remediation practices.
- Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration tools required for various projects.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients during stressful situations.
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, and safe operation of company vehicles.
