Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items
- Help with catering setups, food staging, and event support as needed
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to uphold health standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, storage areas, smokers and dining spaces through regular cleaning
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service delivery during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hotel, or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Experience with bussing, food prep, or catering is a plus but not mandatory—training will be provided!
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of culinary or kitchen operations is advantageous but not essential
