Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, following all food safety and alcohol serving regulations
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and ensure an enjoyable experience
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders swiftly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food handling and sanitation standards
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering events, banquets, or nightclub service for seamless guest experiences
- Monitor guest behavior responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol laws and promoting a safe environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Texas style BBQ a plus but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for efficient order processing
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, brewing techniques, and beverage presentation
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking across multiple tables or bar stations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices
