Weâre looking for a Director of National Sales who thrives on building teams, sharpening sales execution, and turning strategy into repeatable results. This is a high-impact leadership role where youâll shape how we growâwhile partnering closely with Operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience from first conversation through service delivery.
What Youâll Do
Youâll lead the charge in building a consistent, high-performing business development engine by:
- Coaching and holding Business Development Managers accountable for performance, growth, and results
- Evaluating current sales practices, identifying gaps, and implementing meaningful improvements
- Defining and rolling out a clear, repeatable sales approach aligned with our strategy and service capabilities
- Setting expectations for how opportunities are identified, qualified, pursued, and smoothly handed off to Operations
- Standardizing tools, playbooks, and processesâand tracking the metrics that matter (pipeline, growth, retention, and market penetration)
- Partnering with Operations leadership to align customer expectations, support contract strategy, and ensure strong service delivery
- Collaborating with internal commercial partners on coordinated customer and distributor opportunities
What Youâll Bring
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Typically 7 years of progressive business development or sales experience, including leading and coaching a field-based team
- Experience in B2B service-based, industrial, or manufacturing-adjacent environments (MBA or masterâs degree a plus)
- Comfort traveling up to 40% of the time, including overnight travel
- A people-first leadership style, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for building scalable, repeatable processes
