Our client, a leading global proprietary trading firm, is rebuilding the next generation of its trader-facing tools and is hiring a Product Manager to help lead that work. Technology isn't a support function here, these applications are the primary interface traders live in all day, every day, to read the market, make decisions, and execute.

The role sits squarely between the trading floor and the engineering org. You'll help rethink these tools from first principles: the workflows, the visualizations, the interactions, everywhere speed and clarity decide outcomes. One extra click or one extra second is often the gap between catching an opportunity and watching it go. The impact of your work shows up in trading performance immediately and measurably.

This is a central seat in a significant reinvestment in the firm's trading platform, with genuine ownership, senior visibility, and the opportunity to shape how traders interact with markets for years to come.

What You'll Own

• Working shoulder-to-shoulder with traders to understand their daily workflows, decision-making, and trading patterns
• Partnering with engineering to design, build, and iterate on high-performance GUIs
• Turning trader insight and commercial needs into clear product goals, priorities, and requirements
• Driving initiatives end to end, from framing the problem and scoping it through delivery, iteration, and adoption alongside development teams
• Treating workflow efficiency as the product: every click, keystroke, and pixel counts
• Spotting where common patterns and shared tooling make sense across desks — and judging when a desk should deviate
• Keeping trading, engineering, and adjacent teams aligned on direction, priorities, risk, and progress
• Flagging dependencies and risks early, before they turn into blockers

What You'll Bring

• A track record owning complex products that sit at the center of a user's working day
• Exposure to trading, financial markets, or trading systems is a strong plus, though not a prerequisite
• Sharp instincts for how people use tools under time pressure, and how design choices shape decisions
• Enough technical grounding to hold your own with engineers on systems, data flows, and trade-offs
• Proven ability to take ambiguous problems and convert them into clear direction and execution
• Communication that lands across very different audiences
