REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
LOCATION: Cranston, RI
PAY: $17-19
HOURS / SHIFT: 1st Shift, M-F

DESCRIPTION:
Maintain accurate inventory levels daily and ensure timely transactions are completed. Physically receive and ship packages and orders into and out of warehouse, by performing the required duties to quality and productivity standards. Coordinate workflow and direct activities of material handlers as appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shipments: Physically receives all incoming packages and ordersas well as prepares and ships outgoing packages.
- Verification: Verifies quantities ordered match quantities shipped on packing slips and note discrepancies, check shipments for damages.
- Forklift: Operate the forklift and wrapping machine as needed
- Labels: Determines labeling requirements for shipping containers including any special labels required by the customer
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Forklift Certification: Preferred, forklift experience preferred
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills along with strong ability to multitask
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with customers and team members.
- Other Skills: Ability to work effectively with peers, management, and other departments.
- Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Warehouse Setting: The role is primarily based in the warehouse with loud noises and fluctuations in temperature
- Communication: Ability to communicate in English
- Mobility: Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Lifting: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds continuously
