About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Mill/Lathe Programmer to join our metal precision manufacturing team in Union City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC mill and lathe machines to produce high-quality metal parts to exact specifications. This role involves ensuring machining accuracy, maintaining equipment performance, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components.
- Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Maintain organized work areas and comply with all safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes.
- Train and mentor junior machinists or team members on programming and setup best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes.
- Proficiency with G-code, CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Fusion 360), or similar systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have Prior experience in metal fabrication.
- Technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, machining, or related field preferred.
- Experience mentoring or leading a small team is a plus

Pay: $30.02 - $36.16 per hour
