Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Richmond, VA. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing civil engineering projects, including tasks related to stormwater management and infrastructure development.
The role requires close collaboration with clients and project teams to ensure that designs meet technical, budgetary, and regulatory requirements.
Daily responsibilities include preparing construction plans, reviewing site layouts, and providing solutions for complex engineering challenges.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering principles
Proficiency in Planning and Stormwater Management
Experience working as a Civil Engineer or in related roles
Proficiency in using civil engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet project deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture is required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
