Title: OB/GYN Ultrasound Sonographer

Location: Richmond, VA

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Schedule: Flexible | No Nights, Weekends, or On-Call

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations, including first, second, and third-trimester scans.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and forward findings to interpreting physicians.
• Review patient medical histories and document relevant clinical information.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ultrasound reports, and required documentation.
• Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Manage daily patient schedules efficiently while maintaining imaging accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN sonography experience required.
• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Proficiency in gynecological and all-trimester obstetric ultrasound examinations.
• Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound physics, instrumentation, and image optimization.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
