Job Title: FedEx Ground Delivery Driver
Job Overview
Finish Line Trading Inc., a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground, is hiring reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers in Tempe, Arizona.
Drivers operate company provided P1000 or P1200 delivery trucks and deliver packages to homes and businesses along an assigned route. This is a fast paced and physically active position that requires safe driving, reliability, and excellent time management.
We offer paid training, weekly pay, paid time off, paid sick time, and both full time and weekend opportunities.
Pay and Schedule
- Pay: $190 to $200 per day, depending on experience. Paid training starts at $160 per day. Employees are paid every Friday.
- Full time schedules are typically five to six days per week
- Part time weekend shifts are also available
- Additional workdays may be available
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a P1000 or P1200 delivery truck
- Load, organize, and inspect packages before leaving the terminal
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Perform daily vehicle inspections
- Use a scanner and GPS navigation throughout the route
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently
- Communicate with management regarding delivery or vehicle issues
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
- Follow all company, FedEx Ground, DOT, and traffic safety requirements
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- One full year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past three years is required
- Must provide a clean three year motor vehicle record
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and driving test
- Must pass a DOT physical
- Must be able to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be comfortable driving a P1000 or P1200 box truck
- Must be dependable and available for the assigned schedule
- No CDL is required
