About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Safety Coordinator to lead site safety on a large-scale data center construction project. This role owns compliance, incident prevention, and safety culture across a high-volume, high-risk build environment. The right candidate has hands-on mission-critical or data center construction experience and knows how to hold a jobsite accountable without slowing it down.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily safety walks, audits, and toolbox talks across the site
- Enforce OSHA compliance and client-specific safety protocols
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; drive corrective action
- Partner with superintendents and project managers on schedule-safety alignment
- Train subcontractor crews on site-specific safety requirements
- Maintain safety documentation, JHAs, and permit systems
- Serve as the primary safety point of contact for client and GC leadership
What You Bring
- 5 years construction safety experience, with data center or mission-critical project experience required
- OSHA 510 Certification
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, MEP, and high-voltage safety protocols
- Proven ability to manage safety across multiple subcontractors on a fast-paced site
- CHST, CSP, or equivalent certification a plus
- Excellent communication skills — able to hold the line with crews and leadership alike
