Title: Senior HR Consultant – Employee & Labor Relations

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Consultant to provide strategic HR guidance and support to business leaders and employees. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in employee relations, HR business partnering, and labor relations, with the ability to handle complex workplace issues, conduct investigations, and advise leadership on performance management and employee concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to leaders on employee relations and performance management matters.
- Partner with managers to develop performance improvement and corrective action plans.
- Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
- Conduct workplace investigations, including employee interviews, documentation, fact-finding, and analysis.
- Prepare investigation summaries and recommendations for HR leadership and legal partners.
- Collaborate with HR teams and business leaders to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Escalate complex or sensitive employee issues when appropriate.
- Support HR programs including succession planning, compensation, performance reviews, and talent initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with California labor laws, federal employment regulations, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of Human Resources experience.
- 2 years in a lead HR, HR Business Partner, or HR Specialist role.
- Strong Employee Relations experience.
- Experience resolving employee performance and workplace issues.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations.
- Knowledge of California employment law and federal labor regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR or Labor Relations certification.
- MBA or Master's degree in Labor Relations or Human Resources.
- Experience supporting unionized workforces.
- Labor Relations experience.
- Compensation and succession planning experience.
- Leave management experience.
