Rate Case Coordinator
Location: Oakland, CA (Remote within oakland Service Territory)
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: $35–45/hr on W2
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Rate Case Coordinator to support the Case Coordination and Document Services functions within Regulatory & Rates. This role is primarily remote; however, candidates must currently reside within bay area service territory. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to manage document coordination and system administration activities in a fast-paced regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform document posting and maintenance activities within the WebDocs application.
- Support case coordination and document services operations for Regulatory & Rates.
- Serve as support administrator for:
- cNet (Regulatory Compliance Management Tool)
- gNet (Case Management Governance Tool)
- SharePoint platforms
- Assist in identifying, testing, and implementing enhancements to internal tools and applications.
- Document departmental processes, procedures, and system guidance materials.
- Prepare and coordinate operational metrics, reports, and ad hoc data requests.
- Provide training and support for new and existing users on department systems and tools.
- Troubleshoot application issues and respond to user inquiries.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support department objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with enterprise software applications and internal systems.
- Prior experience in a regulatory or utility environment.
- Familiarity with SharePoint administration and document management tools.
- Experience creating operational reports and process documentation.
Additional Information
- Assignment is remote with occasional onsite requirements based on business needs.
- laptop will be provided; candidates must also have access to a personal or supplier laptop for onboarding until company equipment is received.
- Larger and dual monitors are highly recommended due to the screen-intensive nature of the work.
- Meetings and communication will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
