As an AP/AR Specialist at Findorff, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial operations that keep our projects moving. You'll work closely with project teams, vendors, subcontractors, and owners to ensure invoices, pay applications, payments, and account records are processed accurately and efficiently. What We Are Looking For
- 3 years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of transactions with accuracy
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proven ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and drive timely resolution
- Experience with accounting, ERP, expense management, or document management systems
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Located in or willing to work from Madison, Wisconsin

- Support Financial Operations: Manage the flow of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions across multiple projects and entities, helping ensure payments and financial records are processed accurately and on time.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Serve as a trusted resource for project teams, vendors, subcontractors, and owners by answering questions, resolving billing issues, and providing timely communication throughout the payment process.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Review invoices, pay applications, statements, receipts, and account activity to identify discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and ensure financial data is complete and accurate.
- Drive Process Excellence: Support expense reporting, owner payment portals, ACH setup requests, and month-end accounting activities while continuously promoting efficient and consistent processes.
