Findlay First Church of the Nazarene is a thriving church of 500 people in a loving and growing community. We have a Chinese Church, minister to the Haitian population, and have many young and multi-generational families who call this church their home. Our staff team consists of passionate people who love to serve others. We are looking for someone to join our team that will help our maturing congregation grow closer to Christ and multiply the Kingdom of God.
The church was started in 1939 and has had a rich history. We have been at our current location since 1981 which is located by Highway I-75 on the West side of Findlay, Ohio. We are a part of the Northwestern Ohio District, one of five districts in Ohio.
The role of this position focuses on fostering spiritual growth and development within a church community by designing and implementing our worship services. The. Pastor of Worship Arts will lead the planning and execution of corporate worship services, combining musical leadership with pastoral care. Key duties include recruiting/training teams, planning song sets, managing tech, and fostering congregational engagement. This role requires musical proficiency and spiritual leadership.

- Agree with the doctrine statement and be willing to be a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
- To demonstrate the ability to lead an effective Ministry through Worship to be culturally relevant and have a depth of passion for God. Have formal education and/or prior experience.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to relate to people from all walks of life and encourage their growth in faith.
Key Responsibilities & Duties of Worship Arts (3/4)
· Worship Leadership: Plan and lead weekly services, ensuring a cohesive experience that aligns with sermon themes.
· Team Development: Recruit, audition, mentor, and train vocalists, instrumentalists, and audio/visual technical team.
· Rehearsal Management: Organize and conduct rehearsals to ensure musical excellence.
· Technical Oversight: Coordinate inhouse and livestream A/V Team on audio, lighting, and video elements.
· Pastoral Care: Provide spiritual guidance, care, mentorship, and support to those involved in the Worship Ministry.
· Administrative Duties: Manage the worship ministry budget, equipment, and scheduling software (Planning Center).
Key Responsibilities & Duties of Discipleship (1/4)
· Lead in the development of Discipleship Efforts of the Church.
· Recruit, Lead, & Train Lifepoint Leaders for small group ministry.
· Fulfilling other pastoral and administrative duties within your gifts and strengths that will enhance your ministry.

Our team at Findlay First Naz strives to identify, train, and empower people to use their spiritual gifts and be fully engaged with what God is doing amongst us. Our staff does not do the ministry for the people, we raise leaders up to do the ministry as we serve together.
Our Church Staff has multiple members, and we meet weekly with full-time and quarterly with all staff. This is where we coordinate all ministry and work together to accomplish our mission and keep our vision before us.
