Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Arlington, OH, for a 9-12 Industrial Arts Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, developing curriculum tailored to student needs, have a basic understanding of CAD, Robotics and Caroentry skills. In addition to classroom instruction, they will foster creativity, ensure a safe learning environment, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design and implement effective educational activities
- Experience in Teaching, particularly in industrial arts and practical creative skills
- Skills in woodworking
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities to collaborate with peers, students, and families
- Relevant teaching certifications and a degree in Education, Art, or a related field
- Familiarity with safety standards in industrial arts education environments is a plus
- Ability to inspire and support students in achieving academic and personal growth
