A leading Columbia-based law firm is seeking an experienced Defense Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. The firm handles complex civil litigation and represents clients across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents
- Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation
- Assist with discovery, depositions, and subpoenas
- Manage case files and document organization (iManage preferred)
- Conduct document review and analysis
- Prepare for trial, including exhibits and witness coordination
- Analyze medical records and prepare summaries
Qualifications:
- 4 years of litigation experience (defense preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Experience with billing time and adherence to client billing guidelines
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; iManage experience a plus
- Ability to travel for trial as needed- trial experience highly preferred
Benefits:
