Title: Senior Accountant

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, this individual will play a key role in supporting financial operations, reporting, cash management, and strategic accounting initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a strong accounting foundation, excellent analytical capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Active CPA license or currently pursuing CPA certification
- 3–5 years of accounting experience in public accounting, private industry, or a combination of both
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Experience preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements
- Knowledge of payroll reporting, cash flow forecasting, and cash management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including formulas and financial reporting functions)
- Experience with QuickBooks; QuickBooks certification is a plus

Primary Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Senior Accountant will assist with and support the following areas:
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management
- Preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements
- Third-party financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Profit and Loss reporting, cash flow forecasting, and cash management
- Calculation and tracking of commission revenue and related expenses
- Financial variance analysis and reporting
- Support year-end close activities, audits, and ongoing reporting for senior leadership
- Maintain critical reporting calendars and monitor key deadlines
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial initiatives as assigned
