We are seeking a professional Accountant to join a growing team in Greenville, SC. This is a full time, permanent/Direct Hire role with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of general accounting experience and will have strong Excel skills.
Job Description:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting for an assigned set of properties
- Complete bank deposits, bank reconciliation, online bank transactions, cash management, and reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Communicate with third-party clients
- Assist the Accounting Manager with the monthly closing and financials
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and oversee reporting for third-party clients
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Prepare an analysis of the accounts
- Prepare journal entries
- Month-end and year-end closing
- Assist with the audit process
- Assist with budget preparation
- Handle payroll
- Track insurance policies and reconcile prepaid balances
- Prepare cash projections/forecasts
- Assist with Workman Comp Audits
- Assist with 1099 Process
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Accounting
- 5 years of general accounting experience
- Real estate or property management accounting experience (Preferred)
- Strong MS Excel skills
Hours:
- Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
- 100% onsite
Compensation & Benefits:
- $65,000 - $75,000
