Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to serve as the primary owner of our Salesforce Financial Services Cloud environment. This position is crucial to supporting our national expansion and ensuring that our advisors, service teams, and leadership have access to accurate, actionable data, enabling them to provide world-class retirement planning to clients.
As our primary Salesforce resource, you will own the platform’s design, customization, integration, and optimization. You will partner with leadership to align business processes with technology, implement automation, maintain compliance controls, and drive adoption across a rapidly growing advisor force.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Optimization
- Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator for Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
- Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, workflows, and process automation.
- Maintain data integrity, implement deduplication, and ensure system hygiene.
- Monitor system performance, releases, and new features—proactively identifying opportunities to improve usability and scalability.
Business Process Alignment
- Partner with leadership, operations, compliance, and advisors to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Automate workflows for prospecting, client onboarding, compliance tracking, service requests, and marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics for executive decision-making.
User Training & Adoption
- Serve as the internal Salesforce champion to promote adoption and ensure best practices.
- Develop and deliver user training materials, including SOPs, quick-reference guides, and onboarding curricula for advisors and staff.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and resolution of Tier 1 issues.
Compliance & Security
- Maintain strict adherence to SEC, FINRA, and RIA compliance standards within the Salesforce environment.
- Manage user permissions, profiles, and role hierarchies to ensure secure data access and integrity.
- Partner with compliance to ensure audit readiness and regulatory reporting.
Integration & Growth Enablement
- Lead integrations with marketing automation platforms, financial planning tools, and communication platforms.
- Collaborate with external Salesforce consultants and developers when advanced customization is required.
- Support technology strategy for scaling from St. Louis to multiple national offices.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Salesforce Administration experience (Financial Services Cloud required).
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201).
- Proven success in implementing automation, dashboards, and workflow optimizations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CRM data architecture, reporting, and security best practices.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting compliance-driven environments (RIA, broker-dealer, banking, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Salesforce certifications (Platform App Builder, Advanced Admin, FSC Accreditation).
- Experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or fintech.
- Familiarity with RIA-specific workflows such as onboarding, KYC/AML, and fiduciary recordkeeping.
- Knowledge of API integrations, middleware, and data migration.
