You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:

Responsibilities:
As a Supervisory Financial Program Specialist, at the full performance level you will perform the following duties:- The incumbent through subordinate employees manages the maintenance, auditing, and reconciliation of general and subsidiary ledger accounts, the preparation of accurate and timely reports, and the control of funds.
- Examine, verify and maintain financial accounting data, classify accounting transactions, and verify the accuracy and completeness of the accounting data.
- The incumbent perform and is responsible for the analytical and evaluative work associated with accounts payable, deposits, immigration bonds, or accounts receivable.
- Review, verify, and process disbursement payment requests submitted by contractors for design, construction, rehabilitation, and goods and services provided in support of programs.
