Description
The Senior Risk Management Associate (SRMA) will be a team subject matter expert on annuity servicing and annuity products. The SRMA will also be responsible for risk management product licensing and contracting. The SRMA will switch back and forth between the two responsibilities so must be able to multi-task efficiently.

The Senior Risk Management Associate (SRMA) will be a team subject matter expert on annuity servicing and annuity products. The SRMA will also be responsible for risk management product licensing and contracting. The SRMA will switch back and forth between the two responsibilities so must be able to multi-task efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Annuity liaison with Operations: The SRMA will be the primary contact for the Operations team on anything related to annuity products. The SRMA will need to be able to answer questions related to annuity products, quotes, applications, suitability forms and servicing needs The SRMA may, on occasion, be required to help complete forms and applications by working with the advisor or client.
- Annuity sales support: The SRMA must be able to run new business quotes and/or effectively request quotes from FI’s upline BGA or the insurance carrier. The SRMA should establish working relationships with internal wholesalers from FI’s primary insurance carriers.
- Licensing and contracting: The SRMA will act as the primary licensing and contracting expert and will be responsible for maintaining the contracting database.
- Bachelor's or other college degree, certification, or equivalent
- 5 years experience in the financial services industry
- 3 years experience in annuity customer service
- Problem solving skills.
- Self-starter and proven ability to work remote.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple relationships and tasks at any one time.
- Knowledge of insurance carrier illustration systems
- Knowledge of SureLC
- Standing or sitting for extended periods of time in an office environment
- Working on a computer for extended periods of time
- Lifting up to 15 pounds
