Des Moines, IA Full Time
POSTED ON 10/24/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/21/2026
Description

We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative M&A Integration Lead to lead the end-to-end integration of acquired entities, portfolios, and fintech platforms into our core ecosystem. In this role, you will partner closely with operational, legal, and technology teams to guide each deal seamlessly from pre-close due diligence through Day 1 execution and post-close alignment. As an M&A Integration Lead, you will maintain operational continuity and serve as the central driver of regulatory compliance and data security across every integration milestone.

Location: This position is based in Coralville, IA; Des Moines, IA; Joplin, MO; Madison, WI. A hybrid work schedule is available, with a mix of in-office and remote work to support collaboration, flexibility, and business needs.

What You’ll Do

Integration Strategy & Governance

  • Establish the overall integration roadmap, governance structures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the initial transaction thesis.
  • Facilitate Steering Committee meetings to report on integration milestones, financial run-rates, and risk posture to executive leadership.

Regulatory & Compliance Alignment

  • Partner closely with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure all integration activities satisfy FINRA, SEC, OCC, or other relevant financial regulatory requirements.
  • Safeguard data privacy protocols (e.g., GLBA, GDPR) during the migration of sensitive institutional and retail client data.

Cross-Functional Workstream Leadership

  • Direct complex, parallel workstreams across core departments: Technology Systems, Wealth Management Platforms, Finance & Accounting, HR, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Manage critical day-to-day interdependencies between legacy systems and target platforms to ensure zero downtime for active client accounts.

Synergy Capture & Financial Tracking

  • Monitor and track cost and revenue synergies, integration budgets, and operational cost savings against the deal model.
  • Define and validate "Day 1" readiness criteria and "Day 100" stabilization milestones.

Change Management & Client Retention

  • Design change management strategies to preserve the acquired firm’s top advisory/producing talent and proprietary institutional knowledge.
  • Collaborate with marketing and client-relationship teams to ensure seamless client communication, preventing asset attrition during asset conversions.

What’s in it for you?

We provide a total rewards package focused on your health, family, and financial security. This includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision options alongside company-paid disability and life insurance. We support your work-life balance with PTO, paid holidays, volunteer time off, and paid parental leave. Finally, we invest in your future through a 401(k) plan and a robust Employee Assistance Program for professional support.

Compensation: The anticipated pay range for this position is $80,000-$140,000, based on your level of experience and technical expertise.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–8 years of corporate development, management consulting, or program management experience, with at least 3 years specifically leading post-merger integrations (PMI) within financial services, fintech, or banking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or specialized credential (e.g., CFA, PMP) is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of financial services infrastructure, clearing and settlement processes, asset transitions, and advisory workflows.
  • Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks and compliance standards governing client data and financial operations.
  • Experience overseeing large-scale financial software conversions, ERP alignments, or CRM migrations (e.g., Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, core banking platforms).
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence with a proven ability to lead matrixed, cross-functional teams and influence C-suite stakeholders during high-stakes corporate transitions.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time in an office environment.
  • Working on a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
